Meet Melissa
Melissa Baker has been passionate about health and wellness her entire life. After 16 years as an educator, Melissa finally decided to pursue her passion for wellness full-time. Melissa is a graduate of Irene's Myomassology Institute, a member of the American Massage Therapy Association, and has received stretch and flexibility coaching certification through NASM, as well as certification as a Level 2 Fascia Stretch Therapy™ (FST) practitioner.
A passion for fitness
In addition to her education, Melissa has received a black belt in Isshinryu Karate and currently holds 3 Michigan Weightlifting state records for snatch, clean and jerk, and total. Melissa is also an active member of the CrossFit and weightlifting community.
